WHAT IS GOTS?
GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) is a certification for textiles made from organically grown fibers that verifies both the ecological and social criteria across the entire supply chain, from harvesting to labeling.
It requires a minimum of 70% certified organic fibers and restricts harmful chemicals, dyes, and processing methods while also ensuring fair labor conditions.
By choosing GOTS, you:
- Support organic farming (no toxic pesticides or synthetic fertilizers in the fibers)
- Avoid harmful chemicals in your textiles (banned dyes, formaldehyde, heavy metals)
