What does it mean to do good?

We don't know.

We spent a year making these first pieces, and mostly what we learned is how little we understand. Every choice we made had something behind it we couldn't see clearly.

So this isn't an answer. It's a question we're going to work with this year, and make things while we do, together with other people.

Foundation

The first pieces. Raw unbleached cotton, cosmos flowers embroidered by hand. A beginning, nothing more. Just what we believe should be a standard.

Mirabilia came out of the same question. Harmony with nature. A dress with a glass orb of living algae — it lives only when it's looked after, and the light comes when they're thriving. We liked that it doesn't quite belong to us.

What comes next

More attempts, with other people, in many places. We'd rather explore answers with others than give one of our own.
